Welcome To Dark Sanctuary

The year is 2700. It has been 690 since they had found each other. 690 years since Xandor Blooddawn discovered who he was and what his past was. Now, a new threat has over come the Carpathian Mountains and their wolf brothers of the frozen north, the Daemon Wolves. The undead, Carpathian males that have turned; have joined forces with the Rogue Nation, a set of Daemon wolves who have run from the rules of the pack and the leadership of females. So, with this threat and the murder of the leaders of both Nations, an alliance has been called between the Carpathians and Daemons. The Shadows have come to seal the fate of all and the Dragons once more soar through the skies. The spirits walk the living world once more and old enemies have become new allies. Now, with the world as a post-apocalyptic battle ground and all with the knowledge they must fight for themselves, the World has become a bloody battleground. Races that have hidden through the shrouds of time have now decided to show themselves and make a finally stand for territory, life, love and peace. They have also stepped out to fight for knowledge, secrets of the past long hidden away. Secrets that an ancient book, known only as the Carnageium contains and the one person who can read it. The world the humans once knew is drawing to a sudden end, a new and darker time is vastly approaching. All know they must find the answer to save their race or loose all. Weapons are scarce, technology is slowly making its come back and Dark creatures lurk on the horizon, waiting for someone to come and be claimed. This will be a fight where races come together, and stand for the strong. Or fall for all time sake. The choice is yours. Come and join.

We are currently accepting applications for all races and all are open to play with any former post count. Please acquaint yourself with the rules of our site and also the race descriptions before applying.
There are several opportunities for you to enjoy yourself and also contribute to our site. Our admin are always open to new race ideas. Please also be aware that we do allow adult content but it must be kept in plotline for your characters.

1. This is a Mature site. We have alot of blood and gore as both Carpatians and Daemon Wolves are very vicious when fighting and very passionate with their mates. The site and the rp will reflect that. Due to this no one under the age of 16 is allowed to join.

2. We are all responsible rprs here there is no God Moddling unless the party you are god modding has agreed that it is ok.

3. All characters must have an application and be accepted before you can start rping.

4. You must register for your Celeb. There no duplicating a celeb unless your character is a twin. And it must be agreed upon by the original holder of the celeb.

5. If your account goes dormant you may lose your celeb so remember to post an away notice if you must be away for any length of time.

6. Please do not spam the site. If you want your site to be affialiated with Dark Sanctuary, please apply for that. Your site must have ours up before we put yours up.

7. We do allow AC within plot necessity. Please mark your thread with "AC" or it will be deleted and you will have to start over again. If you are not rping within plot using AC and we deem it "cyber" the thread will be deleted.

8. To keep down rampant Carpathian lifemating we have decided to limit the lifemate process. a. To have a lifemate your character must have at least 150 posts, this is if you are Carpathian or Human. b. Please remember to be careful who you choose to lifemate with. If your character is lifemated to another and they go inactive it will be required that you do one of two things, 1. continously search for them 2. your character will either go insane and become the undead (males), commit suicide (females). This is Carpathain nature. To loose the other half of one's soul causes this within the race. c. You and your mate must apply for this priviliage. Create a post asking for mating on the application board. Admin will decide your mating based on how active you and your mate are on the site.

9. There are no Vampires as played on other sites. Here vampires are the undead. Nosforatu. Meaning they are wholly evil and depraved. They are insane. They kill wantonly and without regard to anyone or anything... they live for the kill and the high it gives them. They are the monsters of your nightmares. Their flesh rots off of their bodies as a decaying corpse.. this is because they are dead.. only their spirit is active within the decay of their bodies. If your character looses their mate and your character is a male carpathian you will be required to play your character in this way or have them kill themselves.

10. If your character must commit suicide due to a mating gone bad, then we will require you to recreate another character. This does not mean you will have to fill out another Carpathian application. But you will have to provide history for your character in an application. So in other words you will be filling out a half application. If you decide to run a Human or a Daemon wolf you will be required to fill out the full application in those areas. This is the only exception to the application process. You will need to fill out the entire application if you are just creating another character to play.

11. The age max limitation for all New Characters is 4000. This is set for a reason and I expect all new Characters to keep to this rule.
